Following a period of rapid growth, LTP has boosted its sales team further with the appointment of Matt Jones. Well known and respected within the industry, Matt joins with over 30 years’ of experience within the tile trade and will support LTP customers throughout the Midlands Northern region and Northern England.
Born into the tile business, Matt managed Derbyshire-based Country Tiles East Midlands Ltd for over ten years, having originally joined the business – which was founded by his parents – in 1997. The successful family-run firm offered one of the largest selections of wall and floor tiles in the Midlands.
“I’m incredibly proud of everything that we achieved as a family and of the fabulous relationships built so far in my career. I’m now equally excited to be starting a new chapter with LTP; a company that I’ve had a working relationship with for most of my time in tiling. I already had inside knowledge; I knew LTP as a friendly, professional company, with a great product range and great potential. I think that you really need to believe in your products and I know, from experience, that LTP solutions really do work,” explained Matt.
LTP Director, Mark Atkins commented, “I’ve known Matt for most of his working life and it’s fabulous to have someone with his knowledge and experience join our technical and sales team.”
Outside work, Matt plans to spend more time with his family, at the touchline watching his son play football and walking his two Cockerpoos, Berty and Marv, in the Derbyshire countryside.
